Ingredients:
About 4 cups Green beans (trimmed whole or cut)(fresh, frozen, or canned)
About 5 cups Chicken stock
Optional, for added flavor: In additional to above stock, 1 tub (1.17 oz) of Knorr concentrated chicken stock
1 tbsp. Shallots or other dried onion
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Herbs and spices (about a half tsp. each): Basil, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper
Make sure enough chicken stock is used to cover green beans in a pot. Cook all ingredients on low heat. If using fresh green beans, cook until they cut easily with a fork (about an hour). If using frozen green beans, cook until beans are hot and tender. If using canned green beans, cook about 30 minutes.
